- Screening Decadent Samurai Movie with Smartphone Caption and the Clothes, "Hatamoto Taikutsu Otoko"

A masterpiece in Showa err, which is an exciting entertainment “Samurai film”(historical drama), "Hatamoto Taikutsu Otoko" has been revived now in English, Chinese and Japanese.
This dream-inspiring collaborative work, which was produced in 1958 in commemoration of the 300th movie starring Utaemon Ichikawa, features all famous movie stars.

[Story] The protagonist, Saotome Mondonosuke, was a direct vassal called Hatamoto of the Tokugawa shogunate and a high-ranking master of swordsman with 1200 koku even without an official assignment. However, in the peaceful Genroku era, as there was no opportunity to show off his skills of sword that he was proud of, he always said " I can't help being boring." While he hates corruption of power because he is a man of integrity, he is benignant to frankly interact with people to be commonly known as "the bored lord". This is a drama that the "Hatamoto Taikutsu Otoko" unfolds.

Director: Sadatsugu Matsuda
