What is Nihon Buyo? What is Noh?
For those who wish to see, experience, and learn about traditional performing arts. Tokyo in fall, when art comes alive

Traditional Japanese dance called Nihon Buyo developed in the Edo area along with Kabuki. As Ginza developed, so did this form of art in the entertainment district, which has continued to produce new works even today.
Former NHK announcer Seiji Kasai and Japanese dance artist Bokusetsu Onoe, born and raised in Ginza, give a light-hearted talk, while the “Viewing” and “Experiences” of this dance will help you understand the essence of Nihon Buyo and its creation and development. This program also lets you experience the magic of kouta (short ballad), nagauta (long ballad), biwa, and a variety of other music from a new perspective.
